I would like to thank the organizers of this great event from the bottom of my heart, because the award they gave me is a great honor. After 32 years of hard occupation and focused on the fight against smuggling of historical culture, I have had the opportunity to return more than 16,000 ancient artifacts not only to the Greek authorities, but also to other authorities around the world. Oliver Ruiz and I have managed so far to build a strong and wonderful relationship between the people of our countries, two nations with a great historical culture, so now I feel that he is more than a friend to me, a brother, a family.
I really wish from the bottom of my heart that in the future we can get rid of the smuggling of historical culture, because the historical culture of every nation belongs to all its citizens, as well as to all human beings around the world.
